Will gutter guards stop all maintenance?
No, but they cut it way down. An occasional rinse is still smart in heavy-tree areas.
Do my gutters need fixing before guards go on?
Sometimes. Guards keep debris out, but they cannot fix a gutter that does not drain. If we find slope or hanger problems, we recommend fixing them first so the guards work the way they should.
Which guard is right for my home?
It depends on your trees, roof, and gutters. Spruce needles usually call for micro-mesh; leaves are handled well by aluminum or wire mesh. We test-fit on site and recommend one.
Do gutter guards hold up under Alaska snow?
The guards we install are rated for our snow loads. We avoid flimsy screens that do not survive an Anchorage winter.
