Good questions
Can you fix a gutter that is pulling away from the house?
Usually yes. We add hangers, re-secure the run to the fascia, and re-slope it. If the fascia itself is rotted, we will flag it and recommend a repair plan before reattaching.
When is it better to replace than repair?
Older aluminum gutters, heavy corrosion, multiple failing seams on one run, or rotted fascia are usually replacement situations. We will be upfront if repair is not the right call.
Can every gutter be re-sloped?
Not every one. We re-slope straight runs with screwed hangers (no spikes) on wide, level wood fascia. Gutters with corners, spiked gutters, or crooked fascia usually need an added downspout or a replacement instead. We will tell you which at your estimate.
